However, the implementation of PreparedGeometry really adds information to the Geometry, not the individual operations. And a single PreparedGeometry supports several operations, so I definitely need a class that contains the prepared data and hosts the operation methods.

Hopefully this will make sense when you see the implementation.Dr JTShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02383381220154739793noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2420860529344694449.post-52503415970878567382007-08-16T01:31:00.000-07:002007-08-16T01:31:00.000-07:00I like the concept... and indeed I'm looking forwa...I like the concept... and indeed I'm looking forward the implementation, but I think the name is misleading. IMHO (and without fully knowing the details and scope of the feature), PreparedOperation would a better name. See, every time you explain what a "PreparedGeometry" is, the word "operation" is used anyway. Following your SQL API analogy, PreparedStatement comes to be a better name than PreparedRow :).https://www.blogger.com/profile/03897424974394505020noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2420860529344694449.post-12827524748402185812007-08-11T02:22:00.000-07:002007-08-11T02:22:00.000-07:00Oh my god this seems to be an amazing feature for ...Oh my god this seems to be an amazing feature for JTS :)D_Guidihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11108695847188941932noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2420860529344694449.post-87663941893706249672007-08-11T01:29:00.000-07:002007-08-11T01:29:00.000-07:00Yeaaahh, finally bulk spatial operation at good sp...Yeaaahh, finally bulk spatial operation at good speed. Hurray for Martin! :)
Can't wait to put my hands on it... time for GeoTools to have spatial operations too!
Oh boy, I'm so happy! :)Andrea Aimehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04056107353824320977noreply@blogger.com
